recommendations:
1. get other people to pick the berries!
2. use cookie cutters... so much faster and easier than exacto knives for cutting out shapes (I kind of dislike maple leaves now)

I, too, agree with using cookie cutters as opposed to cutting strips and what have you.

Only I'm no good at making pies, so tarts are the next best thing.
